Kaleidoscope Eyes is part of a series of work that was created using a new painting tool, an angled foam brush where I began painting repetitious patterns with multiple different colours and layers. I love how the effect almost looks like tie-dye and evokes a 60’s mood. I have always had a fascination with eyes and the different colours that make up an iris. I wanted this piece to look like an abstracted iris and represent how we all see the world differently.
